CATER’s projects will initially focus on Liberia, with plans to expand across West Africa. As a research center, CATER utilizes quantitative and qualitative data, analyzed through a dashboard, to formulate recommendations, interventions, and strategies that help communities and nations build resilience against terrorism and extremism. The data collected will be the sole property of CATER, its partners, and the specific communities involved. Other actors must obtain consent from CATER or its supporting partners to use these products due to the sensitive nature and security components of the data and recommendations. Starting in Liberia, CATER will pilot its operations, followed by expansions to Sierra Leone, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, The Gambia, and Senegal.
